Demurrage acceptance
Demurrage cost acceptance is available online only via PortConnect.
This function allows users to immediately accept costs to account for associated cost types on a container/s. This includes containers at both TCT and MetroPort Auckland.
The Cost Acceptance function allows users to:
- Search containers and assign the debtor account code against the following cost types – Demurrage and MPI Billing Hold
- Search and update multiple containers at once
- Add Purchase Order/Reference numbers – this feature is optional but can be set to Mandatory upon request
If your company has an existing debtor account with Port of Tauranga AND a PortConnect account, your PortConnect login will automatically be linked to your debtor account and the Cost Acceptance function will be available for your company.
